Bruce the chef

Already from the aperitif, “Chef Bruce” appears in the room to the observant guest. To create a believable character, he always starts calmly, until he has the guests in the palm of his hand. Throughout the evening, you'll experience and hear strange things with a good dose of humour and charm.

About the concept: 

It's only after the guests have been seated, given a drink and the floor is handed over to the chef that the show begins. The charming Norwegian-American attracts immediate attention when he talks about himself, and the laughter starts right from the start. “Bruce” goes through the menu presentation, practicalities such as smoking areas and emergency exits - the evening has started and the starter can be served.

The dinner never has time to get boring - after the starter, he's back on stage to check the mood for a few minutes, during which he can also introduce speakers or other internal events.

Towards the end of the main course, he takes over the stage with humour and the whole thing ends with him cutting the boss's tie in half - much to the amazement of the guests.

Once the main course has been cleared away, “Bruce” returns to check the mood. He tells a little fairy tale and at the end of this sequence he reveals to the guests that “Bruce” is not actually the head chef, but a hired comedian. There's no doubt what will be the “talking point” throughout the evening.

An evening of hidden theatre is a different form of humour with great success and good feedback from guests.
