Kjell Elvis

Kjell Henning Bjørnstad is seven years old when he sees Elvis Presley on TV for the first time. Elvis sings «Love Me Tender» and the boy takes the call. More than thirty years later, the love is just as strong, and even though the King is dead, Kjell Elvis keeps the magic alive. When the audience closes their eyes, they will hear Elvis - and when they open their eyes, they will see Elvis.

As Scandinavia's only Elvis Tribute Artist, Kjell Elvis takes his profession seriously. On stage he is Elvis Presley, but also Kjell Henning. He is Kjell Elvis - the artist who sounds like Elvis, looks like Elvis, and creates the atmosphere Elvis was known for.

Kjell Elvis is the European champion, Nordic champion and bronze medallist in the World Elvis Impersonation Championship. He got his name in the Guinness Book of Records after singing Elvis songs for over 40 hours. ’My fascination with Elvis is not a hobby. It's a lifestyle and a livelihood.
