About Hilde Selvikvåg
Hilde Selvikvåg has been playing the piano ever since she was six years old, and since then the artist from Jæren has established herself as a much-loved performer in this country.
The Spellemannominated debut album ”Slepp meg fri” from 2015 was quickly followed by strong singles such as ”Karusell”, ”Anemone”, ”Indie” and ”Janei”.
Hilde's songs have received a lot of radio time on radio stations such as P3 and NRK P1, making Hilde Selvikvåg one of the country's most played Norwegian-language artists in recent years.
Genuinely and intimately, she conveys her lyrics in a resonant Jær dialect, as only she can. Her songs appeal to both the vulnerable and the strong, and no one leaves a concert with Hilde unaffected.
