Karin Hodne

Karin Hodne has acted in many theatre plays and productions in recent years, including «Journey to the Christmas Star» in which she played the lead role in 2013, 2015 and 2017, and "The Bridal Dance" in 2012 and 2015, in which she also played the lead role.

In addition, Karin has a lot of experience in the event industry as a singer and artist. She has worked at all types of events all over Western Norway. Karin has several concepts that you can read more about below.

Musical performances
Karin Hodne makes a musical contribution together with a guitarist. The programme is of optional length/genre during the dinner to set the mood. You can choose from everything from Dire Straits and Bob Dylan to Justin Bieber and Britney Spears.

Singing waiter
As a singing waiter, the evening's host says that now it's time for one of the evening's waiters to serve with a slightly different twist, the sound man then puts on a sound file and Karin enters singing as a waiter with the song “All That Jazz” After dinner, she enters as herself with a new song, for example in a red dress before she finally performs the last song after dessert in, for example, a gold dress.

All-singing
Karin and her guitarist can also do 45 minutes packed with «hits» that everyone knows. There's a lot of singing along and a great atmosphere. We hear everything from Stavangerkameratene, Van Morrison and The Kids. Karin is known for moving through the room as she sings, getting the whole company involved. She has a wide repertoire and recognises how the company responds, adjusting the set list along the way to ensure everything is optimal for sing-alongs and party atmosphere.

Play up to the party and dance 
Karin and guitarist do 2-3 sets after dinner. The repertoire is very versatile, and includes everything from proper swing tunes to «clinas» and sing-alongs. This is perfect after dinner, to get you in the mood. If space and technique allow, Karin moves around the room.
