The class struggle
Klassekampen is a great activity based on NRK's hit programme «Den store Klassefesten». This activity is popular to use before dinner when the guests are seated at the table, such as at a Christmas party or other party. But it can also be used as a break at courses and conferences.

About Klassekampen
When the guests are seated at the table, the «principal» welcomes them and divides the guests into two classes. Each class chooses a representative to act as class captain. Then the day starts with the following subjects:
Subject 1: Maths
The head teacher asks the students to organise their class in a neat row. The task will be to organise by date of birth (not year) The team that lines up their class in the correct order first is the winner and receives the first apple (the team with the most apples at the end wins the class match)
Subject 2: Norwegian
Back at «school», it's now time for the baton competition. Trustees select four pupils to represent their class. They will each wear a vest with a letter on the front and back. The headteacher will now read out a word that the four selected students must spell correctly as quickly as possible. They do this by swapping places and finally standing in the correct order.
Subject 3: Musikk
The principal plays short parts of 4 different songs, the class must now find the artist and song on the songs. The next task in this subject is for the principal to play a music clip consisting of 3 songs mixed together, who can find the right artist and song?
Subject 4: O-fag
An image covered by 25 squares appears on the screen. The first class out chooses a square to be removed so that they can see this part of the image, the class has ten seconds to guess what is in the picture (this could be a famous person, for example, or what about one of the employees that we have manipulated in someone else's body). This is how the competition continues until one class has found the correct answer.
Subject 5: O-subject specialisation
This is a duel between the classes where new images will appear gradually more and more. The first team to guess the right picture wins the class. Each class has two suggestions to guess what is in each picture.
Subject 6: History
The stage is now set for the grand finale. In the previous subjects, you could win an apple per subject. In the final round, you get an apple for each correct answer and this is where it all comes down to. The headmaster reads out a question, and as soon as one of the classes thinks they know the answer, the headmaster stops reading. Has the class understood the whole question and do they have the right answer? NB: If they have the wrong answer, the apple goes to the other class.
