Frode Alnæs is the guitar virtuoso and ”boss” of the band Dance With A Stranger, and the author of all the songs by the band that became one of the great successes of Norwegian pop history.

Among other things, he can look back on 10 weeks on the classic billboard list, had 8 albums on the VG list with the band Dance With the Stranger and won 3 Fiddler awards including Fiddler of the Year.

He's the man behind tunes like ”Long December Night”, ”Everyone Needs A Friend”, ”Invisible Man” and the world-famous ”Vitae Lux”.

Frode has released several solo albums, and this year he is releasing a new album with Norwegian lyrics.

With his critically acclaimed solo performance «My dance with strings», he received fantastic feedback when he recently visited over 60 cultural centres across the country.
