Picture Hollywood’s golden age – elegant film stars, champagne, glamour and a time when charm and playful flirtation were part of the show. With Marilyn Monroe as her inspiration, Karin offers three musical encounters throughout the dinner.

Karin enters the room as a singing waitress to «All That Jazz. She moves among the guests, pours wine for a select few, steals a wine glass, sits on a lap – and perhaps one lucky guest gets a kiss on the cheek. All delivered with humour, elegance and classic Hollywood charm.

After dinner, the journey continues into a world of champagne, glitter and celebrity company. Karin returns with «Big Spender», and now the evening's most interesting guests are to be found. With playful elegance, she picks out her favourites from the audience.

Towards the end of the dessert, the star factor is turned right up. Inspired by Marilyn Monroe's iconic expression, Karin finishes with «Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend» – a natural finale in a world where diamonds, luxury and the finer things in life are prized

Concept 2, musical interludes with a guitarist – close up to the guests

Pop, rock, singalongs and tracks you are guaranteed to have heard before! Karin Hodne and a guitarist present a broad repertoire – from classics like Grease, Queen and ABBA to newer favourites from Karpe, Bruno Mars and Veronica Maggio.

Karin brings the room to life and treats guests to spontaneous, up-close moments. It can be cozy and atmospheric – or develop into a sing-along where the whole room joins in.

The repertoire is tailored in advance to suit the audience, the party and the occasion. The performance lasts for approximately 30 minutes and can also be split into 2 x 15 minutes during dinner.

Karin can also be booked as a host, and towards Christmas the concept is adapted with Christmas music, cosy stories and a wonderful pre-Christmas atmosphere.
