The farm

The farmer divides the group into teams of about 10 people. The teams are called the pigs, cows, oxen, horses, chickens, etc. Each team chooses a breeder who becomes the leader of their team. The goal for each team will be to get their successor to take over as the big farmer. To achieve this, the team must show that they are better suited than the other teams.

The big farmer gathers all the labourers for a council on the farm. The big farmer has a number of different activities he wants to test the labourers and their teams in. The labourers get to choose which labourers they want to challenge and what kind of activity the two teams should try.

After each activity, the big farmer will gather all the farmhands for a new council on the farm. Here, a summary will be made of which farmhand is best placed to become a big farmer and which farmhand needs to sharpen up and work towards becoming a big farmer.

All teams get to try their hand at 3 different activities. In other words, we run 3 rounds of activities with advice on the farm between each round. We end with a final between the 2 best teams.

Activities vary depending on the big dog's mood, for example stone rolling, water tower, log throwing, horseshoe throwing (without a horse) pole shooting (bow and arrow) paintball on live targets, cairn building, football boccia and foraging.

This activity can be run at various events, but if you as a customer have not yet chosen an event location, we are happy to help you find a suitable venue. For example, a farm that has been converted into a banqueting hall with plenty of space inside and out to run the activities.

After the activities, for example, guests can gather for good food and drink, as well as socialising with entertainment and music.
