About Helene Bøksle
Helene Bøksle is an experienced and skilful live artist, who has captivated the Norwegian people with her unique and magnificent voice.
Over the past two years, she has participated in several major TV productions, including “The Hit” and “Stjernekamp” on NRK.
Helene has a number of record releases behind her. Helene's debut album “Elverhøy” (2006) was nominated for Spellemannsprisen.
She had her commercial breakthrough in 2009, when she released the critically acclaimed Christmas album “Det hev ei rose sprunge”, which went platinum.
In addition to her own releases, Helene has contributed to a number of other records and musical projects, including Kurt Nilsen, Secret Garden and David Urwitz.
She also sings on the soundtrack for the Hollywood production ”The Mermaid Chair” (2006), and ”Sonja's Song” on the remake of ”Journey to the Christmas Star” (2012).
