The humour scene here in Norway has traditionally been dominated by the male gender. Fortunately, we're now seeing an ever-increasing influx of talented female comedians who are finally taking their well-deserved place in the spotlight.

Impressive group of female comedians

On our website we have an impressive group of female comedians, and we also collaborate with several others.

Comedian Sandra Spjelkavik from Bergen shines among the new stars. Spjelkavik was nominated for the Comedy Award in the “Newcomer of the Year” category in 2017. She offers a delightful combination of stand-up, humour and music.

Then there's Cecilie Steinmann Neess, who began her journey as a comedian in 2008. She quickly made a name for herself with her distinctive blend of observational humour and personal stories. Her ability to draw laughter out of everyday situations and create a genuine connection with her audience has made her one of the most sought-after comedians in the country.

Lisa Tønne started her comedy career back in 1999. Tønne is known for her sharp humour, unique personality and her ability to make people laugh with her funny observations, sarcasm and self-irony.

Our newest addition to the website is comedian Cécile Moroni, a French-Norwegian comedian who came to Norway in 2010. With a unique and hilarious approach, Moroni depicts her encounter with Norwegian work culture, gender equality and the well-known Waffle Friday.
