Royal visit under 900 x HURRA!
It was a historic event at the square, as Stavanger municipality hosted the visit of three generations of royalty on 4 July 2025, and the entire royal family gathered in the city for the first time.
The occasion marked Queen Sonja's 88th birthday, the 900th anniversary and the emigration anniversary. The royal family participated in the cathedral before going to the King's Podium at Torget and waving goodbye to Restoration, which set course for New York - 200 years after the start of the organised Norwegian emigration.

As an event agency, we delivered the stage production in VÃ¥gen, including technical tender, dialogue and booking of equipment through PS Selskapsutleie, as well as close planning with Stavanger municipality's culture department and arena manager. During the event, we provided a producer, stage manager and project coordinators, and coordinated technical delivery from Hove West, camera crew from Fabel and other actors on stage.
